Environmental protection: an everyday concern
Since 1925, Gascogne Paper's pulp and paper mill has seen significant development. There has been major investment, taking it beyond the standards currently required, in order to maintain its lead in terms of protecting its precious surrounding environment. In addition to ongoing efforts to train staff and give them responsibility, the exemplary progress achieved by the Mimizan site is also the result of Gascogne Paper's mindset and working methods, which complement its investments. ISO 14001 certification is in the process of being obtained.
