Paint masking
 
This application consists of protecting certain parts of a car or aircraft chassis, so that only the surfaces to be painted are accessible. Masking can be carried out using paper, plastic film and adhesive tape, either alone or in combination. The protective material must form a hermetic seal against lacquers, paints and solvents.
