Inks and coloured substances can be applied to a paper surface to reproduce a decorative effect, using various printing techniques (including flexography, heliogravure and offset).

 
 
Printing applications are various: gift wrap, wrapping, communication and advertising (brochures, printed documents and posters), graphical arts, office use, stationery etc.
Most of the packaging described in the USES section is printed (bags & sacks, packaging/wrapping, envelopes, coated or laminated papers etc.)
